BATAVIA - Rural & Migrant Ministry's journey across New York has ended, but the group hopes the caravan it led from the Long Island to Buffalo will foster an appreciation for immigrants.

"All of us know people and heard stories of the people that have been detained - especially, in recent months, that are not murders, are not criminals, are not whatever false labels the authorities are using," he said during the caravan's stop at the Buffalo Federal Detention Facility in Batavia, where it held a vigil Saturday.
