BULLHEAD CITY — Police are actively investigating the deaths of an elderly couple under circumstances that appear to be suspicious.

About 8:40 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, police were called to a residence in the 700 block of Palo Verde Drive where family members were attempting to contact their mother, said Emily Fromelt, Bullhead City Police Department spokeswoman. Concerned for their mother's welfare, relatives reported that they had entered the backyard and looked through a window, there they saw a male resident lying in the kitchen. ×
