Major Expansion For Montreal Airport Deemed "Not Likely" To Have Significant Environmental Effects

Aéroports de Montréal (ADM) has determined that a major expansion project at Montréal–Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL) is “not likely” to cause significant environmental effects. The environmental concern arises because the expansion projects may cause disturbances to the natural habitat, local ecosystems, and biodiversity in the area.

The expansion project includes a new satellite jetty that will add 16 new gates to YUL. It is part of a $10 billion transformation plan for the airport and the surrounding area over the next decade.
