GREEN RIVER -- Lee Maestas of the Riverton Raiders was the only baseball player from the Rawlins community to be featured in this year's Legion All-Star activities. He played for Riverton this season after the Rawlins Bandits decided to stay at the 17U level. He started on the mound for the West team and batted 12th in the lineup, in addition to participating in the home run derby.
The West Legion All-Stars dominated the East 20-9 in the 2025 Single-A All-Star game behind a 13-hit performance.
Maestas' inning of pitching kept the East at bay. He forced two groundouts and a fly out, and the only batter to reach base against him did so on a defensive error. He was one of the most consistent hitters in the game, going 2-for-2 with two singles and two walks while scoring a pair of runs.
