RAWLINS -- The Rawlins City Council has appointed Pamela Thayer as acting city manager on a temporary basis during City Manager Thomas Sarvey’s absence, according to a Thursday, Aug. 7, press release.

Thayer will handle routine administrative duties and carry out the direction of the City Council. Policy decisions and leadership personnel matters will remain with the City Council.

The City Council and staff are keeping City Manager Thomas Sarvey and his family close in our thoughts during this time, wishing him a speedy recovery and return.
