Sentencing will be held next month for a Murray woman who pleaded guilty to murder and other charges.

Crimson Jackson pleaded guilty to murder, strangulation and burgulary charges Friday in Calloway County Circuit Court.

Jackson allegedly entered the home of a unidentified woman last December 5th and attempted to kill her by stabbing and strangling her according to a Murray Police Department news release. Investigators added Jackson allegedly tried to take money from the victim.

Sentencing is scheduled for September 15th.
