As the country braces itself for the fourth heatwave of the summer this week, we're looking at just how hot it's going to get in Greater Manchester.

According to the Met Office , highs of 34C are expected in some parts of the country on Tuesday and Wednesday, leading to the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) issuing a heat health alert.

The UKHSA issued the yellow warning on Friday and it will come into effect at 12pm on Monday before lasting for 54 hours until 6pm on Wednesday.

It covers seven UK regions, including Yorkshire and the Humber, East Midlands, West Midlands, East of England, London , the South East and South West.

While the north west is expected to dodge the most extreme heat, temperatures are still expected to soar over 30C.
