A male is reported dead after drowning at an outdoor pool in Rocky Hill, police said.

Authorities said they responded to the emergency at 3:08 p.m. along Cold Spring Road.

Upon arriving, officers found the male out of the water where paramedics were performing life-saving measures, the Rocky Hill Police Department said.

Emergency personal performed resuscitation efforts for approximately 20 minutes before the male was transported to a hospital, according to police.

After arriving at the hospital, the male was pronounced dead, authorities said. His identity has not yet been released.
