2025 Summer Under the Stars: Glenda Farrell

Famed for her portrayal of smart, sassy and wisecracking blondes during the classic Hollywood era, Glenda Farrell will be seen in plenty of those roles during today’s 17-film Summer Under the Stars lineup. Several of the titles feature Farrell in her signature role as Torchy Blane, a daring reporter who Superman cocreator Jerry Siegel credited as being the inspiration for Lois Lane.
