Until Sunday morning, Mayor Muriel Bowser had been quiet on the issue, but she spoke out for the first time in an interview on MSNBC's show "The Weekend" to share what her communication has been with the president regarding crime and what she thinks the motives are behind his sudden fascination with D.C.
