A fresh new route is coming to south Lethbridge.
City officials say construction is moving forward on Pathway 17. The multi-use trail will run along 43 Street South and South Parkside Drive South. Designed to improve safety and connectivity, officials note the completed path will link existing routes to form a continual loop, making it easier to walk, cycle and enjoy the outdoors.
This phase of construction begins on Monday, Aug. 11, and includes traffic disruptions and detours. • The intersection of 43 Street South and 20 Avenue South will be closed • Drivers are encouraged to use Forestry Road South (follow the posted detour signs) • Local traffic can access 20 Avenue South from the west at 40 Street South/Cedar Road South
City officials say the intersection should reopen on Sat
