Gladiators star and Loughborough University athlete Harry Aikines-Aryeetey is the first famous face confirmed for this year's Strictly Come Dancing . The beloved BBC series returns this autumn and has Harry representing the county.

Better known to millions as Nitro, Harry is a champion sprinter who won gold in the 4x100m relay at the 2022 Commonwealth Games . He has become one of Gladiators' most recognisable stars since the reboot launched and is not Leicestershire's only star on the series either, with Steel, aka Zack George, hailing from Sileby .
