Photos and videos capture the aftermath of severe rain that resulted in major flash floods in Milwaukee over the weekend.
The record rainfall, which occurred on Aug. 9 into Aug. 10, produced the floods that led to widespread power outages, submerged cars, water rescues, and massive property damage.
Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers tapped National Guard troops to support Milwaukee County's response to the floods.
"We are continuing to monitor flooding, especially as several counties continue to remain under flash flood warnings," Evers said in a statement on Aug. 10.
While the full extent of damage of the floods is still being sorted out, photos and videos show the aftermath in Milwaukee.
