ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) - Average gasoline prices in Roanoke have fallen 1.9 cents per gallon in the last week, according to a Gasbuddy survey of 155 gas stations in the region.
Prices in the region are one cent per gallon lower than a month ago and stayed 34.7 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average for the price of diesel fuel has gone down 1.8 cents per gallon compared to a week ago and stands at $3.69 per gallon, said Gasbuddy.
The most affordable station in Roanoke was priced at $2.63 per gallon on Sunday, August 10, while the priciest gas station in the region was $3.99 per gallon, a difference of $1.36 per gallon.
