A Florida man was charged with murder Sunday for allegedly shooting and killing a fellow attendee at Brooklyn block party Saturday night, police said.

Tony Caba, 39, was arrested and charged with murder and criminal weapons possession for fatally shooting 45-year-old Roberto Cuevas on Fourth Avenue and 57th Street in Sunset Park, according to NYPD officials. Police said the gunfire erupted just before 9:15 p.m. and they were still investigating what started a dispute between the men.

Cuevas was struck in his back and was later pronounced dead at NYU Langone Hospital–Brooklyn. Officials said he lived about a mile north of the scene.
