Ohio colleges and universities plan to implement millions of dollars in safety grants awarded by Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine this school year, according to some representatives from Ohio schools.
A total of $7.5 million in safety grants, which were awarded by DeWine in January, will fund security projects on 28 college and university campuses in Ohio, according to the Ohio Department of Public Safety. Cleveland State University is one of the schools working toward finalizing security initiatives funded by these grants.
