Platt first performed the record on stage at the 2025 Las Culturistas Culture Awards, a celebration of pop culture chaos hosted by Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers .
“Ask and ye shall receive,” Platt wrote on Instagram. “Diet Pepsi (Live from 2025 Las Culturistas Culture Awards) streaming now.” His cover elevates the song with an orchestral arrangement that makes the plea “say you love, say love, say you love me” strangely hyper-emotional. “Now I can cry on the go!” actress Rachel Zegler commented.
