William Shatner is immortalizing his legendary career by writing a book — and fans have a chance to be included in it.
Shatner, best known for playing Captain James T. Kirk in the “Star Trek” franchise, announced his new project entitled “William Shatner... And You!“ on Thursday, Aug. 7.
“My dear followers, I wanted to drop a bit of a teaser: I’m writing a new book,” the 94-year-old wrote in an Instagram post . “Even Better: the book’s all about YOU, the fans, and you can be a part of it, maybe even be in it!”
From now until Dec. 31, fans who pre-order the book can submit their own tale of how Shatner’s characters (i.e. Kirk, T.J. Hooker or Denny Crane) have impacted their lives.
