Scorching temperatures of 34C are set to be felt across the UK this week, according to WXCharts.

Metdesk data has shown that Brits will feel the heat over four days with weather maps turning red.

The heat has started today (Monday, August 11) and will remain right through to Thursday, August 14, with temperatures increasing as the days go on.

The maps show that the south of England will be hit the hardest by the hot weather with the likes of London and Southampton hit with mercury of 30C and above.

And by August 13, the southwest will see temperatures increase to 34C, The Express reports.
