FOXBOROUGH, Mass. —

Thousands of volunteers are being sought for roles across Boston, Foxborough and other locations during the FIFA World Cup 26, which will host seven games of the international soccer tournament in Massachusetts.

Interested volunteers must be at least 18 years old and able to commit to eight shifts between June 11 and July 19.

"Volunteers will play a crucial and critical role in delivering an unforgettable experience for fans, teams, media, and officials from around the globe," The Boston Host Committee said in a statement.

Gillette Stadium, which will be known for the tournament as Boston Stadium, will host group stage games on June 13, 16, 19, 23 and 26.
