DES MOINES, Iowa (KCCI) - A group of young boys in central Iowa are dedicating part of their summer break to selling water bottles outside the Iowa State Fair, KCCI reports .

Parker Schulz and his wrestling friends are selling water bottles for $1 each in an attempt to raise money for wrestling tournaments.

“At the end, we’ll get enough money to raise for our tournaments and help our parents pay for tournaments,” Schulz said.

12-year-old Schulz has been a wrestler for nine years. The sport is teaching him important lessons as he works to raise money.

“I think it helps teach him just not to give up and just keep fighting through. Especially when it’s really hot, when it’s going to rain. It just lets him know keep fighting for your goal,” Beth Schulz, Parker’s mom, said.
