TOWN OF WEST TURIN, N.Y. (WWTI) - Drivers in Lewis County will encounter stop sign in the town of West Turin.

The New York State Department of Transportation announced that drivers should be aware of a new four-way stop at the intersection of State Route 26 and State Route 12D in the Town of West Turin in Lewis County.

The intersection has new signs installed on both highways.

Drivers are asked to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
