Former NFL head coach Jon Gruden is a fan of Jaxson Dart.

After the New York Giants' rookie threw his first touchdown pass in Saturday's preseason action, Gruden took to social media to express the fact that he's supporting Dart's future as a quarterback in the NFL .

Like many, Gruden showed plenty of excitement for Dart, who flashed plenty of positives in his first NFL game, following an impressive run at Ole Miss last year.

"Me and [LJ Humphrey] have been connecting a lot during camp and whatnot. He's been a great contested catcher on go balls. I liked my matchup one-on-one, and he was able to win over the top, and made a great play," Dart said regarding his first and only touchdown pass in Saturday's game.
