The Beulah Fire continues to grow in the High Uintas Wilderness. The Beulah Fire was reported on August 7th burning on the north side of the High Uintas and has grown from 1,400 acres on August 8th to over 2,300 acres on August 10th. According to the Sunday report, the fire area has experienced critical fire weather near Red Flag criteria for high winds and low relative humidity resulting in explosive fire growth. The fire is actively burning in heavy timber with short crown runs and long-range spotting. There are 240 fire personnel assigned to the fire with aircraft including 4 scoopers, 3 Type-1 Helicopters, and 1 Type-4 Helicopter.
