Heriot’s confirmed that the club are living in a golden cricketing era when they captured the men’s T20 cup with a seven wicket win over Clydesdale in Stirling at the weekend.

Added to other successes the Goldenacre outfit now hold all five trophies open to them in adding to the men’s Scottish Cup, the Grand Final, Masterton Trophy and the 2024 Eastern Premiership (which they are on course to retain with three rounds remaining).

Clydesdale were restricted to 113-9 in the final, Adrian Neill taking 3-24, whilst Gavin Main, James Dickinson and Mark Watt all took two wickets apiece – and chased that target down inside 15 overs as Watt (44) and Matthew Cross (37) led their side to their target.
