Police forensics have reportedly been in a Stoke-on-Trent street 'for hours'. Eye-witnesses say officers first arrived in Abbots Road, Abbey Hulton, at around 9.30am today (August 11).
An air ambulance was also said to have been sent to the scene. The emergency services remained in Abbots Road for around four hours but have since left. The nature of the incident is not known at this stage.
One StokeonTrentLive reader said: "There’s been police cars, ambulances and an air ambulance in Abbey Hulton. Police forensics then turned up at around 11.30am but the rest were here from 9.30am."
