North, East, South and West - each corner of London has been rocked by serious crimes over the last seven days. These include a fatal shooting in Hackney and a daylight rape in Bexley.

Whilst those responsible remain at large, many other people were arrested in connection to incidents involving guns and knives. Despite the bleak news, the latest figures from May 2024 to April 2025 showed a three per cent drop in violent crime across the capital compared to the same period during the previous year.
