EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - A day full of events has been scheduled to celebrate everything local for “812 Day.”

Evansville Mayor Stephanie Terry says several events will be held Tuesday, including neighborhood cleanups and park unveilings to coffee, donuts, and giveaways.

812 Day is an invitation to show pride in Evansville and the people who make it home, according to the mayor.

“It’s about reminding ourselves, through service, creativity, and joy, that Evansville is a place worth celebrating, and a place we’re proud to call home,” says Terry.

Events for the day include:
