Weapons is one of the most talked about movies of the year, generating even more buzz after an impressive box office opening.

The horror film, starring Josh Brolin, Julia Garner, Alden Ehrenreich, Austin Abrams, Cary Christopher and Benedict Wong, earned $42.5 million in its opening weekend in August 2025.
