Portuguese soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and model Georgina Rodriguez announced their engagement after eight years of dating.

"Yes I do. In this and in all my lives, Rodriguez wrote in a translated Instagram post showing her large engagement ring.

Ronaldo, 40, and Rodriguez, 31, confirmed their relationship at the best FIFA Football Awards in January 2017 and shared their first Instagram post together in May of that same year. The couple has five children together: twins Eva Maria and Mateo , 8, Alana , 7, and Bella , 3, as well as her twin brother Ángel , who died in April 2022 . Ronaldo's oldest son, Cristiano Jr . was born from a previous relationship.
