BURLINGAME — The four-year-old boy who died last week after being struck by a vehicle in downtown Burlingame has been identified as Ayden Sang of Burlingame, according to the San Mateo County Coroner’s Office.

The boy died after a driver crashed her vehicle into the sidewalk in front of a restaurant just before 6:30 p.m. Friday, police said. The collision also injured a 6-year-old girl.

The 19-year-old female driver had been pulling out of a city parking lot when she pulled directly into the path of an e-bike driven by an 11-year-old boy with a 10-year-old female passenger, said David Perna, public information officer and investigations division lieutenant for the Burlingame Police Department.
