WHEATON, Md. — Police are asking for the public's help to find a man accused of stabbing another man outside a Wheaton restaurant over the weekend. Montgomery County Police released surveillance video of the wanted man on Monday.

According to a spokesperson for the police department, officers were called to the report of a stabbing around 3:20 a.m. on Saturday near the intersection of Fern Street and University Boulevard West in Wheaton.

An investigation revealed that as a group of people was leaving an area restaurant, a fight broke out. That's when the man pulled out a knife and stabbed another man. The victim was hospitalized in critical condition, according to police.
