BATON ROUGE — After LSU football linebacker Harold Perkins Jr. was lost for the season with a torn ACL that he suffered during the fourth game against UCLA last year, he and defensive coordinator Blake Baker sat down for a chat in the coach's office.

Since Baker's hiring as Brian Kelly 's DC before last season, the question he had been peppered with most was, "what are you doing to do with Harold Perkins?"
