Retired community members have a new opportunity to connect and learn this fall.

Rock Valley College’s Center for Learning in Retirement (CLR) is scheduled to host its Fall Kick-Off and Annual Meeting from 10 a.m. to noon Aug. 12 at the Main Campus – Starlight Theatre.

The event is open to all retired individuals and is set to highlight the diverse classes, trips and activities planned for the upcoming semester, according to a community announcement.

Attendees are expected to be among the first to receive the Fall 2025 Catalog and have the chance to register early for any of the 165 fall classes. The CLR Advisory Committee is scheduled to share information about volunteer opportunities and plans for the semester, according to the announcement.
