RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. — A 43-year-old man was arrested Monday after allegedly stabbing and injuring two people in Asheboro , according to the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to Meadowbrood Road for a report of an armed person and found two people injured outside a home. A man, later identified as Dennis Farrell Siler II, was seen standing in the doorway holding a knife, the sheriff’s office said.

Authorities said Siler initially refused commands to drop the weapon but later complied and was taken into custody. The victims’ conditions were not immediately released.

Following an investigation, Siler was charged with two counts of felony assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury. He was booked into the Randolph County Detention Center under a $10,000 sec
