CHICAGO -- Andy Ibanez will be starting at third base for the Detorit Tigers on Monday night.
The Tigers (68-51) open a three-game series on the road against the Chicago White Sox (43-75) at 7:40 p.m. Eastern time at Rate Field.
Catcher Jake Rogers; infielders Colt Keith and Trey Sweeney; and outfielder Jahmai Jones will be available off the bench.
Right-hander Chris Paddack (4-10, 4.91 ERA) will start for the Tigers.
Paddack will be making his third start since being acquired from the Minnesota Twins at the trade deadline. His last start -- against his old team -- didn’t go well. He allowed four runs on six hits in four innings without a walk or a strikeout.
