Dermot McCabe is the new Cavan manager

Dermot McCabe will be the new Cavan football manager, taking over from Raymond Galligan who stepped down after two years in charge last month.

McCabe has reached an agreement to manage his native county for the next three years. The appointment is subject to approval by the full county board.
