A woman who was searching for her brother following multiple explosions at the U.S. Steel plant in Pennsylvania told sister station WTAE that he has died.

Multiple explosions were reported Monday morning at the U.S. Steel Clairton Coke plant near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

WTAE learned that one person died, multiple others were injured and at least one person is still missing.

Trisha Quinn spoke with reporters at the scene of the explosion earlier today. Quinn said the steel mill confirmed to her that her brother Timothy died.

Prior to that confirmation, Quinn shared her frustration with reporters that she was unable to get information or results from hospitals on her brother Timothy.
