(Portland Tribune) -- The Oregon Ducks debuted at No. 7 in the Associated Press’ preseason Top 25 poll, which released Monday morning.

Oregon’s selection marks the second-straight season in which the program has debuted in the poll’s top-10, beginning their 2024 campaign as the No. 3 team in the nation. The Ducks have been a preseason top-25 selection in each of the last eight seasons, including all four of head coach Dan Lanning’s seasons at the helm of the program.

Oregon earned one first-place vote in the poll, one of six schools to do so.
