Richmond police detectives and the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested a suspect from a homicide in March on Caulder Court.

Authorities arrested Tre’Shawn Robb, 25, of Richmond, on July 2 in Charlotte, North Carolina. On Aug. 4, they extradited him to Richmond; then, police charged him with murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, armed burglary with the intent to commit a murder and maliciously discharging a firearm in an occupied building.

At 9:12 a.m. on March 4, officers responded to the report of a person shot in the 3800 block of Caulder Court. First responders found Zarkee Carter, 24, of Richmond, down and unresponsive. He suffered an apparent gunshot wound and authorities pronounced him dead at the scene.
