Last month, Chattanooga State Community College hosted a celebration honoring two community partners, Erlanger Health System and Unum, during the Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) Excellence in Philanthropy Award Ceremony.
The TBR Excellence in Philanthropy Awards recognize individuals or organizations and their contributions to ChattState, the Chattanooga Community, and colleges in the TBR system.
This year, ChattState officials said the Regent’s Award for Excellence in Philanthropy was given to Erlanger, which has contributed more than $1.75 million in support to ChattState since 1995, including funding for scholarships and faculty chairs of excellence, as well as direct involvement in clinical training and special events.
