No injuries reported after crash involving school bus, DeRidder police say

DERIDDER, La. (KPLC) - No one was hurt after a crash involving a school bus this afternoon in DeRidder, authorities say.

Around 3:45 p.m., the DeRidder Police Department learned of a crash between a school bus and another vehicle at the intersection of U.S. 171 and Greenbriar Street, according to DeRidder Police Chief Craig Richard.

No students were injured, and all were released to their parents or placed on another bus, Beauregard Parish School Board Superintendent Larry Hollie said.

The crash remains under investigation. No further details are available at this time, Richard said.
