OLDHAM COUNTY, Ky. —

A man is dead after police say he crashed into a tree in Oldham County on Monday.

The Oldham County Police Department responded to the area of U.S. 42 and Tirbracken Lane around 12:18 p.m. about a crash.

Police said a man was headed west on U.S. 42 when he drove off the roadway and hit a tree.

Brian Rea, 53, was ejected from his vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police did not release any other information about the crash.
