BOYNE FALLS – The team bus of the Cheboygan Chiefs finally made its stop at Lake Louise, where they knew they were spending the first three days of fall football camp this week.

What they didn’t know was who was waiting for them once they got there.

What transpired for the next two hours challenged them physically and mentally, but in the end, it brought them even more together as a team than before they got off the bus.

Once the Chiefs arrived at Lake Louise on Aug. 11, they were instantly greeted by members of the United States Marine Corps, who provided quick instructions and put them to work during a set of exercises and drills.
