COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - When Texas A&M wide receiver KC Conception took his official visit to College Station out of the transfer portal, he had some questions about Aggie quarterback Marcel Reed.

Just how good is he? From all the accounts Conception heard, Reed could use his legs, but his passing left something to be desired.

It only took one practice for Conception to convert his belief in Reed and, ultimately, make his new home in Aggieland.

“I’m like, this is the same exact kid that everybody’s talking about that cannot throw the ball?” Concepcion said during the first week of fall camp. “Then, ever since I came down here, we’ve been working, getting together our connection. It’s been, honestly, perfect. I believe he is going to make a major leap this year.”
