Will Warren ’s fastball was electric into the seventh inning and the Yankees belted four solo homers, powering a 6-2 victory over Minnesota on Monday night at Yankee Stadium.
Warren allowed three hits in 6 2/3 innings, nicked only by solo shots from Byron Buxton and Trevor Larnach, as the rookie right-hander became the first Yankees starter to complete six innings since he did it himself on July 30 against the Rays . He walked none and struck out seven.
