There are still two games left in this series and a set at Target Field later in the year, but on Monday night it held true that the cure for a Yankees’ slump is the Minnesota Twins. Every year of late when the Yankees play the Twins, media like to bust out stats about what the Yankees’ record against Minnesota is, dating back to the early 2000s. This game didn’t do anything to change those numbers.
