GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Wins and losses in the preseason do not necessarily translate to regular season success. For example, the two teams in NFL history to go winless in a regular season - the 2008 Lions and 2017 Bears - both were undefeated in the preseason. But, the preseason is valuable when it comes to evaluating who’s in and who’s out of the Packers initial 53-man roster.

In the lead-up to the 2025 season, free agent signee Mecole Hardman is battling for a roster spot. The wide receiver and return specialist won 3 Super Bowls with the Kansas City Chiefs, including the game-winning touchdown in Super Bowl 58.
