Detroit — Detroit City FC unveiled renderings of its new stadium and new stadium sponsor on Monday night.

Starting in the 2027 USL Championship season, DCFC is scheduled to play at AlumniFi Field, which will be constructed in southwest Detroit. AlumniFi Credit Union — a division of Michigan State University Federal Credit Union — extended their partnership with DCFC on Monday.

AlumniFi secured naming rights for the new stadium after being a jersey patch sponsor since 2024.

Detroit City FC started planning for a permanent home in 2020. The stadium is expected to cost $150 million as part of a design plan for a 15,000-seat soccer venue.

"This is incredibly personal for me to do a project with this amount of significance in a neighborhood that I love," Detroit City FC CEO Sean Mann told
