A search is underway for a 27-year-old Medford man who went missing after a rafting trip on Aug. 10 on the Rogue River, according to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office .
Officials said Justice Hamilton was on the Rogue River near Eagle Point and was last seen upriver from Dodge Bridge around 4 p.m. Aug. 10.
Hamilton was floating down the river on an inner tube when he left his companions to get out on an island, the sheriff's office said.
Jackson County deputies believe he may have later joined up with another group floating the river.
Hamilton was wearing multicolored shorts and an orange life jacket. He is described as 5’10” and 160 pounds, clean shaven, with brown hair and fair skin.
